ETH sets annual record for spin-offs
Zurich - In 2023, more start-ups were founded at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) than ever before. Of the 43 spin-offs, 12 have clear links to artificial intelligence, while biotech and pharma spin-offs make up the biggest proportion of the total. The number of female founders is also increasing.

Schlieren/Plano/Paris - Molecular Partners and Orano Med are joining forces for the development of protein drugs known as DARPin therapeutics. The radioactive payloads of such drugs can destroy cancer cells. In this context, the therapeutics are said to minimize collateral kidney damage.
Topadur Pharma cooperating with Juvic in South Korea
Schlieren/Seoul - Topadur Pharma has teamed up with Yonsei University in Seoul and the company Juvic to develop new approaches for the treatment of systemic sclerosis. Dätwyler IT Infra agrees takeover of Seabix
Altdorf/Villmergen - Dätwyler IT Infra is set to acquire Seabix. In so doing, the company from the canton of Uri is expanding its portfolio to include services such as data centers and cloud solutions. The partners are seeking to become one of Europe’s leading providers of ICT solutions.
